ACCREDITATIONS · INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
An IB World School
from age 3.
We have received IB accreditation for the Primary Years Programme (PYP, ages 3–12), and are on track to offer the IB curriculum from 3 to 18.

EMPOWERING EDUCATION
IB curriculum meets Montessori pedagogy.
Our team works every day to strengthen international standards, and we are very proud to have received the accreditation of the International Baccalaureate for the Primary Years Programme. Our goal is to receive accreditation for the MYP and DP and to offer the IB curriculum from 3 to 18 years old.
The IB world is an international family focused on the comprehensive development and well-being of children—which aligns perfectly with our pedagogy. Together they develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young learners who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
We warmly thank our entire school community for its unwavering support and commitment throughout the journey.
THE PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME
What is the PYP?
The Primary Years Programme is one of the four IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP, CP). It focuses on the development of 3–12-year-olds, helping them to become active, caring, lifelong learners.
The PYP offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. It reflects the best of educational research, thought leadership and experience derived from IB World Schools, and has evolved to become a world leader in future-focused education.
PYP students use their initiative to take responsibility and ownership of their learning. By learning through inquiry and reflecting on their own learning, they develop knowledge, conceptual understanding, skills and the attributes of the IB learner profile to make a difference in their own lives, their communities and beyond.
The PYP is organised around six transdisciplinary themes, so that learning has relevance between, across and beyond subjects—and connects to what is real in the world.
THE IB LEARNER PROFILE
Ten attributes. Our school values.
The IB Learner Profile describes a broad range of attributes that embrace a holistic approach to education and support all members of the school community in developing respect for themselves, others and the world around them.
APPROACHES TO LEARNING
Learning how to learn.
Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills can be learned and taught, improved with practice and developed incrementally. Teachers plan explicit and implicit opportunities to develop them, inside and outside the programme of inquiry.

THE NEXT STEPS
MYP and DP candidate school.
PMIS is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme, and is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School for both. IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging international education.
Only schools authorised by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorisation will be granted.
