LEARNING · INTRO · ENGLISH LANGUAGE SUPPORT

A confident start
in English.

We welcome students from all over the country and the world—and make sure learners whose primary language is not English are well prepared.

THE INTRO PROGRAMME

A high level of communication, teaching and learning in English.

English is our primary language of communication and instruction. It is very important to us that students whose primary language is not English—and especially our elementary children—are well prepared.

Our Agdal campus hosts a dedicated INTRO class for learners aged 6 to 12. Extra support classes in our three languages are also offered as part of our after-school programme.

HOW WE SUPPORT NEW LEARNERS

From first assessment to everyday confidence.

01

Assessment on entry

As part of enrolment, our English guides assess comprehension, reading and writing, allowing learners to demonstrate their abilities and knowledge.

02

Six-week intensive

For children who need it, a six-week intensive ESL programme at the beginning of the year helps them learn and develop English language skills.

03

Year-round support

Individual support continues throughout the school year—in small groups or one-to-one—during school hours.

OUR ESL TEACHERS

Six skills, one dedicated team.

With our ESL teachers—Ms Farah, Ms Janine and Ms Darlene—children develop the six basic English language skills.
