Coffee Mornings.
A meaningful gathering where parents openly share their thoughts—our first of the year explored how to respond after a traumatic event.
FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
On Tuesday 26 September we hosted our first Coffee Morning of the year: a meaningful gathering where parents can openly share their thoughts and feelings.
The theme, “Parents: how to react after a traumatic event”, was particularly relevant following the earthquake that affected our community. We were privileged to welcome Ms Asmaa Belh, a highly qualified coach and psychologist, whose expertise and guidance were invaluable.
The discussion covered coping with trauma, strategies for dealing with your own experiences, helping children navigate their emotions, and managing anxiety and stress. We look forward to continuing these opportunities for meaningful discussion and support.
